“Pegasus, Los Angeles 1979”
In the late 1970’s, while living in Los Angeles, I did a lot of work with a group called Pegasus. They were a hard rockin, dedicated band that worked hard and grew in popularity to the point they were headlining shows at the Starwood and the Whisky… with groups like Motley Crue and Quiet Riot opening for them. Though they never really broke out, they had one success record release and always managed to fill the clubs. As the scene in LA migrated from the hard rock of the 70’s to new wave sound of the 80’s Pegasus remained true to their rock roots, writing and performing solid material. I covered them for the better part of that decade shooting their live shows, doing their studio shots as well as producing their music videos. They were a great band and a great group of people to work with.
